Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to meet with potential investors as he seeks to form a potential ownership group to purchase the Carolina Panthers from owner Jerry Richardson, sources close to Combs told Yahoo's Charles Robinson.

Additionally, Colin Kaepernick - who tweeted Monday he wanted in on Diddy's bid for the Panthers - has also reached out to potential investors. Sources close to the free-agent quarterback said he and Diddy have a "shared vision" for the ownership group, added Robinson.

The two reportedly had a lengthy phone conversation about the pivot's role in the ownership group.

"The interest is real and it's moving forward," the source said of Combs and Kaepernick working together. "They want to make this a reality. It's serious."
Kaepernick is currently suing the NFL for collusion. He has been out of the league since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March.

The Panthers were put up for sale after allegations were leveled at Richardson for workplace misconduct.

I would like to see Jordan buy the Panthers, he's a business man, not a retard wanting to make a political statement.

His Net Worth is probably $25-35M and he has an insurance policy to cover him not playing in 2017 I think for another $5M. Im not saying he should but he definetly has the coin to join a group to make the purchase.

They all will have a share because every one of them will want Kaep involved.

Damn Seymour is upset.

I thought this was a possibility but didn't know if he had enough money.

I think it's ehhhhhhh. Because it doesn't really match with what he says he is trying to accomplish. Just seems like he's trying to get back at the owners in the nfl and reform the thinking in the league amongst owners. No more slave mentality thinking, Donald Sterling shit. I don't know. I saw it coming tho just didn't know if he had the bread.

Kaepernick owning a NFL team has to be the joke of the century.

I think Jordan would have to turn the Hornets over to one of his sons because I believe NFL owners aren't allowed to own another American sports franchise. At least that's what Kroneke had to do when he bought the Rams, turning over ownership of the Nuggets and Avalanche to his son Josh.

Well, they are the "Panthers".

But I would definitely support them if they became the "Carolina Thug Life For Real Yo".

Yeah he has a net worth of 500 mil - so it's very likely he will own the Panthers soon - oh yeah, that's right - he's soon to be living under a bridge - some idiot said he has a net worth of 30 mil and it's taken as fact - disco wig is soon to be broke - he has expenses and he makes no money - with no future of ever making a dime - 4 blocks up from me is a bridge - he can put a mattress and have a water front view - when is he getting signed again?

While I doubt it but there is a legitimate chance ur net worth is more than Kaepernicks - u have to assume he will earn less than 10k per year for the rest of his life

How much is Colin Kaepernick Worth?

Colin Kaepernick net worth:
$20 Million

Colin Kaepernick's Salary

$12.4 Million

Colin Kaepernick net worth and salary: Colin Kaepernick is an American football player who has a net worth of $20 million. His peak NFL salary was $12.4 million which came during the 2015 season. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Colin Kaepernick originally established himself as a baseball player to watch, receiving several scholarship offers to college teams when he was in high school. However, he wanted to focus on football, and was offered a spot at the University of Nevada. As a college football player, he quickly showed himself to be an excellent investment, and he was regularly pointed to as one of the best college quarterbacks in the nation. He received numerous honors during his college football career, and set multiple records. He was also drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2009, but turned down the MLB offer to continue playing football. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011, and played as a backup quarterback until 2012, when he began to play more regularly. He excelled throughout the 2012 season, and ultimately led the 49ers to the Super Bowl. In June 2014, Colin and the 49ers reached a six year extension deal. The deal could have allowed Colin to earn as much as $126 million from the deal and $61 million could have been guaranteed. The extension also came with a $12.3 million signing bonus. After Kaepernick discovered that the 49ers were planning to cut him, in March 2017 he opted out of his contract in order to become a free agent. When it was all said and done, Colin earned just under $40 million from his $126 million contract.

Doesn't matter how much he really has. He would need to be approved by the NFL owners and he AIN'T getting that.
